Juan de la Rubia։ International Organ Festival
On November 6, at 19:00 at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall, a solo recital of the Principal organist by Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona Juan de la Rubia (Spain) will take place, within the framework of տhe 3rd International Vahagn Stamboltsyan Organ Festival.
A member of the Reial Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi and professor at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, Juan de la Rubia is one of the most outstanding and multifaceted organsists of Spain. He has performed as a soloist in more than 30 countries. In 2018, Juan de la Rubia was nominated for a Grammy Award for “Sacred Cantatas” (Erato, 2016).
