Biography

Sirusho, born Siranush Harutyunyan on January 7, 1987, in Yerevan, is an Armenian singer. She comes from a well-known artistic family: her father is actor Hrachya Harutyunyan and her mother is singer Syuzan Margaryan. She began performing at a young age and released music early in her career, building a strong profile in Armenian pop. Her best-known international appearance came at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, where she represented Armenia with “Qele, Qele” and finished in fourth place. Among her widely recognized songs are “Hima,” “PreGomesh,” and “Zoma Zoma.” Over the years, she has received Armenian music awards, including recognition in female artist categories. In addition to her recording career, she launched the Pregomesh jewelry line, drawing on Armenian ornamental and historical design elements, extending her public work beyond music into contemporary cultural branding.
