Gor Sujyan

Gor Sujyan is an Armenian singer best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Dorians. He gained broad international attention when he represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song “Lonely Planet.” The entry drew notice in part because it was associated with Tony Iommi. Before appearing as Armenia’s main Eurovision performer, Sujyan had already taken part in the contest in 2010 as a backing vocalist for Armenian entrant Eva Rivas. His public career is most closely linked with Dorians, the band through which he became identified with the Armenian rock scene. In addition to contest appearances, he has performed in concert settings with the group and in other live music formats. Sujyan is primarily recognized for his work as a rock vocalist and for his role in one of Armenia’s most visible international music presentations.
